May 29, 2025 — We are grateful and thankful to continue Craft’d as she has been these last several years.

After carefully considering, we made the decision to purchase Craft’d with our community in mind. These last few weeks as the new owner of Craft’s have had their challenges. But rest assured, we will care for this business with the mindset of it’s creator, Maryann Koziel. She has graciously agreed to remain as a consultant during the transition. She may even have some scheduled cameo appearances.

We are intending to keep Craft’d running as is. And, of course. with time and direction the Friday Wine Tastings will return. To date we have hosted three separate wine tastings featuring new wines from Spain, Italy and France. All have been well received and the wines are readily available on our shelves. We sincerely hope that you will continue to shop with us and support our small business, including our local artist family.

Owning and running Craft’d has become a new dream come true for Laura. It has been an amazing local business for six years and we very much want the shop to remain part of the Downtown Morganton community.

We are ready for suggestions and subtle changes for the store.
