July 18, 2026 — We are grateful and thankful to continue Craft’d as she has been these last several years.

After carefully considering, we made the decision to purchase Craft’d in 2025 with our community in mind. These last several months have brought courage and determination to our small business. But rest assured, we will care for this business with the mindset of continued growth and community spirit.

We are intending to keep Craft’d running as is. Many new local artisans and vendors have been welcomed here. To date we have hosted several weekly wine tastings featuring new wines from Spain, Italy and France, even Greece!!

All have been well received and the wines are readily available on our shelves. We sincerely hope that you will continue to shop with us and support our small business, including our local artist family.

Owning and running Craft’d has become a new dream come true for Laura. It has been an amazing local business for almost seven years and we very much want the shop to remain part of the Downtown Morganton community.

We have officially started our Global Passport Wine Club. Sauvignon Blanc was our first grape in the series. John Zimmerman is our host and well versed in all aspects of wine education. Next session is scheduled for August 30th, 3-6 PM. Seats are filling up fast and we have limited space for 12 guests. Cost is $75 per person.
