Who We Are

Laura Faria is a local real estate professional and former Dental Hygienist. With over 20 years in the area, she is determined to support the local community and continue the success of Craft’d in it’s present location.

Continuing Craft'd as a community asset has become a dream come true! Taking over the store from the Koziel’s has been a welcomed transition according to our customers.

Her husband, Jim has been affectionally designated as “Jimmy the Bartender”. He brings his wit and barkeeping skills to help support his wife’s endeavor.

Who knows what anyone’s future holds, but for now, we are here for YOU!!

Craft’d owners Maryann and Mark serve wine and beer on tap and by the glass at their downtown Morganton, NC bar.

What We Do

Craft’d offers craft beer and wine, by the glass and by the bottle. We have several beers AND wines on tap with plenty of space to sit and enjoy a glass and a wide-ranging selection of bottles to take home. Since there are so many great breweries nearby and in Asheville and since we have spent the last almost fifteen years in Raleigh, we feature beer brewed east of Winston-Salem. With wine, we have a focus on smaller wineries from around the world, but our motto is “drink what you like when you like,” so we carry some brand names and are able to order your favorites. Coffee and tea drinkers, never fear! We have a gourmet line of both beverages in many, many flavors. We can grind to your specifications. Finally, don’t miss shopping in our Marketplace, where we feature handmade artisan crafts. We feel very strongly about supporting local art in all forms and artists of all types. We truly offer something for everyone: sip, shop and socialize!

Why We Do It

We wanted a place where couples can come and enjoy what they like, together, in the same space. Whether its the shopper looking for that one-of-a-kind item (while their spouse has a pint of beer or glass of vino), or couples who have different tastes between wine and beer, we wanted to be sure we weren't splitting up couples for the experience.

We also wanted to provide a venue for us all to learn more about all the great tastes in wine and beer available by providing a tasting center for all to enjoy.
