Mother Hen Primitives

Maryann Koziel, owner of Mother Hen Primitives (and Craft'd), offers primitive-inspired, farmhouse-style creations, including ornies, floral arrangements, penny mats, wreaths and home décor for every day and every season. Each item is a one-of-a-kind. and typically incorporates something vintage, antique, or repurposed. Unique wares for your home and gifts for the special people in your life!

Creekside Cottage Studio

Creekside Cottage Studio focuses on bright, fun and unique handcrafted fashion accessories and art for the home. To live life colorfully and embrace uniqueness daily, they use mixed media with an emphasis on alcohol ink dyes. Items include alcohol ink, acrylic, and watercolor art (framed, canvas, boards, textiles, paper, and ceramic), jewelry, notecards, and tea towels.

Adventures in Bloom

Owner and maker, Laura Gerenser, has "always been a lover of the arts". Her acetate and hand stamped metal jewelry is fun, accessible and affordable.

Fig & Owl Studio

Maker Deanna Steiner, of Fig & Owl, features organic creations that explore texture and color combinations. Each piece is hand built from slabs of earthen clay which are textured using various found, made, and purchased objects. The work is finished in colorful terra sigillata, a fine clay slip and is burnished to create a soft sheen. They are as nice to touch as they are to look at.

The Rustic Dino

Local craftsman Matt Poteet uses reclaimed and weathered wood to create intricate, rustic, one-of-a-kind works of amazing mosaic art!

Kathy Kmonicek Photography

We are thrilled to now be featuring the photography of Kathy Kmonicek! Kathy started as a photojournalist and has turned what was once a job into a hobby and passion. Most photos are of local landscapes and events. Her signature is the "Double Rainbow Over Lake James", but there are many more breath-taking pictures to choose from. In addition to canvas and metal wall art in various sizes, she also has puzzles, note cards, and coasters AND she can create most items in your preferred size.

Genia’s ArT

Morganton resident Genia Hardin creates whimiscal wall art and unique wood signs featuring song lyrics and literary quotes. All items are created from salvaged materials and reclaimed wood, making them oh-so-truly one of a kind!!

Emily Smith creates one-of-a-kind, conversation-worthy fairycore and earthcore jewelry: rings, pendants, necklaces, and earrings. She uses unique stones such as Ruby Zoisite, Labradorite, Prehnite and various colors of quartz, and incorporates high-quality metals, including copper and silver, into her pieces. These creations are sure to speak to your inner boho/hippie vibe.

Wild Blue Yonder Art Studio

Local Morganton artist, Jill Jarrell, paints colorful landscapes of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Lake James, and Morganton using vivid oils on canvas, wood, and metal.
